Poiema is a Place of Healing and Hope
More than transitional housing, Poiema Movement offers long-term, Christ-centered care for individual women and mothers with children (ages 10 and under) recovering from addiction, domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration, or trauma.
We provide safe housing, trauma-informed support, and a structured path toward stability, healing, and restored identity.
Located in Southern Maryland, we serve women who are ready to rebuild their lives in a community rooted in faith, dignity, and hope.
